This exciting project consisted of the construction of a shotcrete stream and swimming pool for the elephants. The pool and stream required extensive artificial rockwork within and around the perimiter of the pool and stream. The exhibit also consisted of colored and textured concrete walkways, an interpretive lodge that was constructed from logs with natural thatched roofing. Also included were new restrooms amd extensive viewing structures for the public's use.
